The journey typically takes around 4 days (3 nights), passing through some of Southern Africa's most stunning landscapes. You'll experience the transition from the lush, wildlife-rich areas near Victoria Falls to the more arid regions of Botswana and the diverse landscapes of South Africa. Accommodation: Onboard, you can choose from three types of suites - Pullman, Deluxe, and Royal. Each suite is decorated to reflect the elegance of a bygone era, with rich wood panelling and luxurious amenities. The Royal Suite, for instance, occupies half a carriage and includes a spacious lounge and a bathroom with a Victorian bathtub. Dining: Meals are served in the dining cars, where you'll enjoy gourmet cuisine prepared by onboard chefs using fresh, local ingredients. The dining experience is formal, with an expectation of dressing appropriately for dinner. Meals include all drinks, except for champagne, which is available at an additional cost. Excursions: The journey includes various off-train excursions. One notable stop is in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe's largest game reserve, where passengers can enjoy a game drive to see lions, elephants, and other wildlife. The Deluxe Suites accommodate one or two passengers and have their own lounge area and en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. Guests may freshen up in their suites before joining fellow travellers in the lounge car or observation car at the rear of the train. Lunch is served in the dining cars. Travel through Warmbaths (Bela-Bela) – so named for its mineral waters – and Nylstroom, christened by the Voortrekkers as the source of the Nile River as the town’s river happened to be north flowing. Pass the edge of the escarpment where the Highveld drops precipitously. Tea is served in the lounge and observation cars. The train crosses the Tropic of Capricorn. Dinner is served in the dining cars. The train crosses the Limpopo River to Beitbridge. Dress: Formal |

Arrive at the incomparable Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe where you will be met by our representative and transferred to The Victoria Falls Hotel for check-in. |
DAY 5: JOHANNESBURG After breakfast you will be transferred to the Victoria Falls Airport for your flight back to OR Tambo Airport. |
